Coin, Gold & Silver Buyer for Anna, TX
Anna is in the north of Collin County, about 19 minutes up State Highway 5 from the McKinney square. If you have older coins or silver dollars from the family, book a weekday time and we will go through them with you.
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, by appointment
We work from McKinney. Anna has no office of ours. We can come up to your home or meet you at your bank in Anna, or you can head south to our private McKinney office, whose address we give by phone after you book.
McKinney to Anna
Anna is the farthest north of our six cities, past Melissa on the same highway. We cover that road to reach Anna homes, and it is an easy run south if you prefer to meet at the office.
- From the McKinney square
- about 11.8 miles
- Drive time
- about 19 minutes
State Highway 5 north through Melissa and on to Anna.
All times are estimates and do not count traffic.
Before you call from Anna
Do you have an office in Anna?
No. We are based in McKinney, where we keep a private office. For Anna sellers we usually come north on State Highway 5 through Melissa to your home or your bank. You can also book a time at the office, and we will give you the address by phone.
Should I clean my grandfather's silver dollars before you look?
Please do not. Cleaning leaves fine scratches and can take a lot away from what a collector would pay. Leave them dusty, toned or tarnished, just as you found them.
Do you give written appraisals for an estate?
We do not do formal written appraisals for probate or insurance. What we offer is a purchase evaluation: we tell you what the coins are and what we would pay for them, and you decide.
- Every weighing happens in front of you
- Photo ID needed at the meeting
- Walk away anytime, no hard feelings
- Appointments only, never a queue
Older coins and silver dollars handed down
A good share of what north county sellers show us was put away by an older relative. Old coins need a slower look than bullion, and that is how we treat them.
-
Morgan and Peace dollars
Big silver dollars from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Dates and mint marks matter here, so we read every coin.
-
Inherited coins
Whatever a parent or grandparent set aside, whether it is sorted or not. Our guide for heirs explains what to do first.
-
Older U.S. gold
Liberty and Indian Head gold pieces, often kept in a small envelope or a pouch. Please do not clean them.
-
Scarce dates
A key date or a better mint mark can turn up in an ordinary-looking jar. We check for them before anything is weighed.

How we handle older coins
Every step happens in front of you, and old family coins are never rushed onto a scale before someone has read the dates.
-
Let us know what you inherited
Call or fill in the form. Something like "a sack of silver dollars and some old gold" is plenty.
-
Agree on a meeting place
Your Anna home, your bank, or our McKinney office down SH 5. We set a weekday time.
-
Coin by coin
Old dollars and gold get read for date and mint mark, then checked and weighed with you looking on.
-
No rush to decide
If you want to talk it over with family first, that is fine. Sell what you choose, when you choose.
